Do you now "The last report" ? Well it's also a game from microids
but it was a totally crap game...So when I saw that this game was made
by Microids I wondered if it was going to be the same crap thing...
I've only played the game for two days but I can tell you that
Microids definitevely made a FANTASTIC game...So here is the walkthrough
this game earns and I'll manage to update it as I progress in the
game...

This is my second ( third if you count the Spyro 2 walkthrough I'm
working on with Dim ) overall Walkthrough...The first one was on Toy
Story 2 and was quite big...I really try to go in depth in my
walkthroughs and searching infos on it on the net...If you have any
comment, critiscism, or just need help on a point where I'm not really
clear then E-mail me (see above)...

( - The Controls... )

Microids done a very good job on the controls...They are simple and
easy to start with...Oh, if you have a mouse the game will take another
dimension as it is MORE easy to controll the camera with it...So here
are the basics for the standard pad...
-D-pad > Moves the camera (you) all around you at 360-...If you have
an analog pad (dual shock maybe) you can use one stick to move slowly
and both to speed up the movement...
-The X button is used to perform an action this can be :
-Take something...A hand will apear if you can take an object or a
book...
-Open a door...A hand with a bar will apear if you can push/open a
door...
-If the cursor changes into some craved wheels then this door can be
opened only mechanicaly...
-The O button will bring up the invetory screen...In this screen you
can click on the objects on the right to take/read them...If you click
on a book you can turn a page by clicking the down-right side of the
page and close the book by pressing the down-left side of the
book/page...You can also get back one page by clicking the center of the
page...
To get out of the inventory screen simply click on the left hand
side icon...
-The start button will bring the load / save / new game option
screen...
-Load...Click here to load a saved game file...
-Save...Click here to save / Ovewright a saved game file...
-New Game...Click here if you think you've got it all wrong...
The controls with the mouse are better (talking about the ORIGINAL
SONY mouse of course...).Here are the controls for the Mouse :
-Left button : Action (see above for more).
-Right button : Inventory (see above).
-Left and Right buttons at the same time : Pause menu (Again see
above for more info).

The game starts as you see a postman on a road ...He stops and talks
to you about an old man in the lighthouse and asks you to go to the
lighthouse...
Now you take control of the reporter and you aim for the
lighthouse...Go straight ahead and, if you want, you can go to your left
and see some birds in the viewer there...
Once in front of the gate take the letter and read it...Now push the
door and get in the lighthouse...Take the hammer to your left and go up
the stairs...There talk to the old man to see another awesome
cinematic...
After he dies (I presume) search for a phone and compose the number
you'll find in the letter...A french guy will talk to you in
french...Examine the drawer to his left and take the letter there...Also
look at the picture of a woman there if you want...Use the stairs and go
up...Here you can take a very beautifull book and see some photos of the
same woman as downstairs...Use the wall-lader to go up and take another
sheet of paper...It's pointless to tell you that you have to read ALL of
these papers 'cause they'll greatly help you in the game...
Now use the other stairs to go up...Open the T.V set to see a "info"
on what's going on in the Amerzone...Look at the paper on the table and
make note where you insert the discs in the Hydroflot...Now open the
door to go outside and use another wall-stairs to go at the very top of
the lighthouse...Here I spended a lot of time trying to find the right
combinaison : 145 this is the magic number...I'll tell you later how I
found it but I made you open this as it will save you a LOT of time...
Now go back down at the very bottom of the lighthouse and open the
wood door on the ground...Push the lever to your right to open up the
light ...Continue right ahead and go down some stairs...Here go straight
ahead untill you find some stairs leading down...DON'T go down yet
instead turn right to enter a new room...Push the two switches there to
open the computer...On the desk is a floppy disc...Take it, open the
computer (push the switch on the screen) and click on the screen...Here
you'll be asked to enter a password...Have you noticed that this
password is made like a date...A birthdate maybe...Ok take a look at
your papers and you'll find that the birthdate of the old man is : 28 /
06 / 04 so enter this and then enter the floppy...Bingo the door is
open...Get out of this room and go to your right...BEFORE entering in
the elevator take something like a bar to your right ...DON'T use the
elevator yet...I've spent a lot of time in this section but I managed to
come to a solution...Go in your inventory and take the bar you've just
collected...At the bottom right side wall of the elevator is a
crack...Use the bar there and push the switch...After the elevator stops
use the hammer on the walland follow the path 'till you find the
egg...Push the lever there to make it go down...
Go back to the elevator and push the switch again...Take back your
bar and push the switch...You'll now go down to the -2 floor where the
hydroflot is...Go down and -if you want- you can see a map of
thesubmarine base in the little house there...
Behind a pillar in front and to the left of the hydroflot are some
stairs...Use them and push the lever there to move the egg...Now go back
down and aim for the hydroflot...NOTE : If you want to know how I found
the code at the top of the lighthouse as well as the coordinates of the
Amerzone continue the path next to the hydroflot...AT the end should be
an elevator...Use it to go up one level and get out...Take a look at the
viewer there and you'll find a number with a different color... 140 in
red... Ok but why 145 then ...?Well if you open the illustrated book
(where you found the age of the old man) and open it to the page where
the hydroflot's plans are you'll see in the uper right corner some birds
and an island...There is an indication there...+ 5- so 140- + 5- =
145...Bingo...
Go back to the hydroflot and get in ...Take the floppy in your
inventory and use it on the opening below the screen...Here choose load
...Plane...And at the coordinates enter 145...Bingo see the awesome
cinematic and go for chapter 2...

( - Chapter Two )

Before doing ANYTHNG save your game...You're out of fuel right...?So
click on the screen and choose SAILING...Then choose the SUBMARINE
option and you'll be in the Amerzone shores...Talk to the old man there
and he says he is in a "Bad mood" because a whale is entraped
underwater...Continue to the "Boat-house" and take the
"Scaphandre"(don't really know what it's called) on the furthest table
and the knife on the furthest wall...
Go out and continue on the shore...Pass the wind thing and continue
untill you reach the hangar...In there you have to take a red "box" and
a "key" (well don't know what it's also called...Sorry ^_^)Go back out
and use the "box" on the Gas thing outside the hangar...Now go back to
the hydroflot and get in...Use the fuel on the opening in the back
(where the egg is) and to the left...Use the computer again and choose
the GRAPNEL option...If you read the green book (Page 3) you'll find
that the lever to use it is just right of the screen...Press it once...
Go back to the "wind" thing you passed by before and examine the
front ( magnifing Lens ) and push the lever there...Now go on there
(arrow) ...Here use the "Scaphandre" on the shortest pipe...Push the
lever and examine the wheel on the left...Turn it...Now use the "key" at
the end of the longest pipe (the one that goes in the water).
Now you should be able to pick the "Scaphandre" and by this mean go
in the water...Here go forward once and use the knife on the thing
there...You'll now see an _awesome_ cinematic...Once you're here move
around and try to find the old hydroflot...Once there click on the
grapnel...Now go out of the water and go see the old fisherman
again...He'll give you a key that unlocks, he says, a chest...Get on the
hydroflot and press the grapnel lever again...Now go to where the hangar
was and continue past the broken plane and past the rocks...You'll
arrive at a dead end with a broken ship (Why all is broken in this level
?) well inside is a chest...Gess what ? This is the chest the fisherman
told you about (duh...) Well use the key on it and take the floppy
inside...
Go back to the wind thing and in the water...Go to where the old
hydroflot was and get in...Examine the screen and you'll find a code :
227.
Jump in the hydroflot and use the floppy...The choose the
"Helicopter" option and enter the coordinates as 227...Bingo another
chapter finished (and another beautifull cinematic earned...)...

( - Chapter Three )

This is a "fun" and easy level...Enjoy...
Once again you're out of fuel so use the "Sailing" option to make it
to the other level...
Get out of the hydroflot and go right towards the cemetery...Talk to
the priest there and he'll give you a key (Examine the tomb...It's
Yekoumani...The woman on the pictures in the lighthouse...)Go back to
the hydroflot but now go forward toward the locked gates...Use the key
and go in the village...Here you can examine everything BUT you won't
get anything...Go to the end of the village and a FAT military will knoc
(don't sure on the grammar here) you down...
DON'T RESET ...That's what I would do as I thought that I forgot to
do something (Broken Sword influence)but in fact the game wants you to
be in jail...
Here comes the Fun part...Take the glass lying around somewhere and
use it on the insect in the upper left corner of the wall where the door
is...Now look in the opening at the bottom of the door and use the
"glass-insect" on the bottle of techilla (or whisky)...The guard will
take it and drop down dead (Man everybody who encounter you dies...Maybe
you should check your breath...^_^)...Take his keys and use them on the
door...
Go to the Jeep (on your right) and take the rope and the fuel...
In the center of the town is a well.Use the rope on it and get
down...Always go forward (take note of the door in the left side) untill
you reach some stairs...Get up and talk to the priest a the end of the
church...This man will ALSO die (humm...You haven't done your check
breath, have you?)...Look at the "holy-bible" book and you'll find a
key...Use the key at the end of the church ( some sort of stand ) and
take the letter and the 3rd floppy...Now use the stairs to go back down
and go were the door I told you to note was ( you should have found a
sword somewhere before reaching the door - 2nd screen from the stairs
near a wall if I remember right - ).
At the oposite side of the door is a statue ...Give him your sword
and then press it to open it...This path will bring you were the priest
first was...(I can't manage to find out WHY they made this path as you
can go back simply by using the rope again...)Well, go back to the
hydroflot and use the fuel on the opening near the egg...Enter the
floppy and choose the "glider" option...You've now finished the Disc 1
...

Get out of the hydroflot...Ignore the house to your left but continue
to the jungle...On a rock to the right side is an animal (a magnifing
lens will appear) if you click on it you'll see a bonus mini-
cinematic...Go in the other house by the jungle where you'll find some
fuel and a sheet of paper...Take both and go back to the hydroflot...You
know what you have to do with the fuel right ?So refuel and push the
Start lever...
After another cinematic you'll be blocked by some strange
animals...Here you CAN'T DO ANYTHING but one single thing...So push the
claxon (under te start lever) and you're off...
Another "small" cinematic...Move toward the other animals and they'll
break your engine...Now move to the left and choose the "grapnel"
mode...A grapnel will apear...Here click between the two big rocks (the
grapnel will not dissapear but the position will be in the memery) so
just press the lever to move...
In the other screen do the same thing (aim between the two
rocks...)and in the other screen aim the rock in front of you...Then aim
the little -what seems a first- rock in front of you...In fact it is an
animal that will guide you to the shore...
Follow the line and you'll find him...You'll find an opening in the
left that goes in the forest...It's very perturbing as you don't know
where you are and can easely get lost but you have to in there and
search for some kind of stick that you can pick up...Now go back outside
of the forest and press the action button on the animal...(If you don't
have the weapon you'll see a bonus cinematic...) ell if you press the
action button you'll fire something at him...Take the grapling out of
him and go back to the hydroflot...
Use the arrow to move to the right and the grapling on the rock to
move forward...Then on another rock far in the distance...And then far-
far in front of you...Exactly in front of you...
Get down of the hydroflot and move to the right...Move forward untill
you can go no further...A wood is lying down here somewhere...To the
right of the wood is a little stick...Take it and use it on the wood to
do a fire ...The animals that were blocking you before are now gone...So
go back to the hydroflot and use the grapling at the rock in front and
nearest to you...Again use the grapling in front of you but far-far in
the distance...
Here is a tricky part...You have to use the grapling on a little tiny
rock IN FRON OF YOU just between the water and the right side of the big
triangle rock...Good luck...
All the other rocks are in front of you so the end of the level is
easy...Remember...Right in front of you...

I'll try to make a map for this level as it's pretty confusing...

I must confess that this is my first map so please be indulgent...
Ok so you start this level in the hydroflot (H) before doing anything
take THE EGG...Now go left untill you reach the village (S)...Here
you'll hear some strange laughs (Silent Hill like...) but you can't see
nobody...Continue and enter the first door you encounter to the left
(E)...In this room you'll find a graphic of some strange machine...JUST
UNDERNEATH IT is a drawer...Open it and take the floppy inside...Pass
through the opposite door and walk untill you reach an intersection
(1)where you have to go either left or right...Here look down and take
the black insect there (this insect WON'T be used...Yep that's right
it's just there so you can see / pick it up...If you want you can try
and see at wich insect it correspond in the illustrated book...)...Go
left and to your right you should see a tree (T)...Touch it and get the
fruit...Go back to the intersection and walk 2 screens (2) ...There look
to your left and take the plant...Move 3 screens (3) and in the cave you
should find a red insect at your feets...
Continue the cave and climb the lader...Follow the path untill you
reach a wheel..Turn it and go back in the village...
You'll here a very annoying noise in the village...This is the valve
you've just opened who turns a bird in the center of the village
(O)...Go to the next room to the left (A) and use the plant you
collected at the back of the machine...Take the bol and get to the other
room (B)...Here use the fruit on the back of the machine...Take another
bol and go see the woman near the exit (W) ...
Give it your egg, the two bols and the red insect in that order...
Now go back to the hydroflot and one screen to te right (G)...Click
on the snake and see a beautifull cinematic...
Go back in the hydroflot and let the egg where it originally
was...Use the floppy and choose BOAT...Now push the action lever and the
hydroflot will move...
When it stops look to your right and push the lever outside...Do this
again when you stop and go on for chapter numero 6...

( - Chapter 6 )

You're now at 30 min 'till the end of the game...Yep that's right the
two last levels are easy and short...
After your hydroflot sank go forward once and search for the
egg...Then aim for the house on the tree...Inside you'll find an vital
item to finish the game...Go back outside and go toward the black "tree"
with something like a trumpet at the end (right of the hydroflot) and
use the item on the bottom / Lowest hole of the tree...
You'll see an animal coming out of the wood...Go were it apeared and
continue untill you reach another tree / trumpet like thing...This time
use your item on the middle hole and yet another animall will apear...
Go back to the clear area and go left...Here you have to be VERY
CAREFULL 'cause you can easelly get lost and turn back to where the
hydroflot was...Hint : NEVER look behind and ALWAYS go forward...You maw
need to go a little right but don't look around ...Anyway you don't have
anything to pick up anymore in this level...
At the end you should find another trumpet like tree next to a wood
machine...Use the item again but this time on the upest hole...The
animals will now come to you...Jump on the middle one and ride it...
You'll arrive at a tree with some stairs on it...Get at the top and
cross the bridge to finish this level...

Go forward and enter the temple...Aproach the commandant and wait
'till he dies too...Take his medals and turn the wheel to the left...Go
outside and down the stairs...Turn around and you should see an opening
in the stairs...Get in and down on the left...Turn the wheel near the
lava full thing and put the medals in the bol...Take the key that will
apear and search the left hand side wall for a keyhole...Enter the key
and turn it 5/6 times to the right...Then go back upstairs and tuch the
white wings to see a cinematic (NOTE : You can see another cinematic
showing you not taking off if you don't do all this -key-)...
You'll land next to the lava...Now walk 2/3 screens to the right (not
clockside) and search the left side of the path (toward the lava) for a
dead bird...Now continue this way 3/4 screens and you should see an
opening to the right...Go in and use the egg on tha altar at the
end...Go back outside and walk 2/3 screens...To your left should be a
path leading to the center of the volcano...At the end of this put the
egg and then the dead bird...
Now lay back and see the wonderfull but too short ending sequece...
Well done...

This is my second ( third if you count the Spyro 2 walkthrough I'm
working on with Dim ) overall Walkthrough...The first one was on Toy
Story 2 and was quite big...I really try to go in depth in my
walkthroughs and searching infos on it on the net...If you have any
comment, critiscism, or just need help on a point where I'm not really
clear then E-mail me (see above)...

Microids done a very good job on the controls...They are simple and
easy to start with...Oh, if you have a mouse the game will take another
dimension as it is MORE easy to controll the camera with it...So here
are the basics for the standard pad...
-D-pad > Moves the camera (you) all around you at 360-...If you have
an analog pad (dual shock maybe) you can use one stick to move slowly
and both to speed up the movement...
-The X button is used to perform an action this can be :
-Take something...A hand will apear if you can take an object or a
book...
-Open a door...A hand with a bar will apear if you can push/open a
door...
-If the cursor changes into some craved wheels then this door can be
opened only mechanicaly...
-The O button will bring up the invetory screen...In this screen you
can click on the objects on the right to take/read them...If you click
on a book you can turn a page by clicking the down-right side of the
page and close the book by pressing the down-left side of the
book/page...You can also get back one page by clicking the center of the
page...
To get out of the inventory screen simply click on the left hand
side icon...
-The start button will bring the load / save / new game option
screen...
-Load...Click here to load a saved game file...
-Save...Click here to save / Ovewright a saved game file...
-New Game...Click here if you think you've got it all wrong...
The controls with the mouse are better (talking about the ORIGINAL
SONY mouse of course...).Here are the controls for the Mouse :
-Left button : Action (see above for more).
-Right button : Inventory (see above).
-Left and Right buttons at the same time : Pause menu (Again see
above for more info).

The game starts as you see a postman on a road ...He stops and talks
to you about an old man in the lighthouse and asks you to go to the
lighthouse...
Now you take control of the reporter and you aim for the
lighthouse...Go straight ahead and, if you want, you can go to your left
and see some birds in the viewer there...
Once in front of the gate take the letter and read it...Now push the
door and get in the lighthouse...Take the hammer to your left and go up
the stairs...There talk to the old man to see another awesome
cinematic...
After he dies (I presume) search for a phone and compose the number
you'll find in the letter...A french guy will talk to you in
french...Examine the drawer to his left and take the letter there...Also
look at the picture of a woman there if you want...Use the stairs and go
up...Here you can take a very beautifull book and see some photos of the
same woman as downstairs...Use the wall-lader to go up and take another
sheet of paper...It's pointless to tell you that you have to read ALL of
these papers 'cause they'll greatly help you in the game...
Now use the other stairs to go up...Open the T.V set to see a "info"
on what's going on in the Amerzone...Look at the paper on the table and
make note where you insert the discs in the Hydroflot...Now open the
door to go outside and use another wall-stairs to go at the very top of
the lighthouse...Here I spended a lot of time trying to find the right
combinaison : 145 this is the magic number...I'll tell you later how I
found it but I made you open this as it will save you a LOT of time...
Now go back down at the very bottom of the lighthouse and open the
wood door on the ground...Push the lever to your right to open up the
light ...Continue right ahead and go down some stairs...Here go straight
ahead untill you find some stairs leading down...DON'T go down yet
instead turn right to enter a new room...Push the two switches there to
open the computer...On the desk is a floppy disc...Take it, open the
computer (push the switch on the screen) and click on the screen...Here
you'll be asked to enter a password...Have you noticed that this
password is made like a date...A birthdate maybe...Ok take a look at
your papers and you'll find that the birthdate of the old man is : 28 /
06 / 04 so enter this and then enter the floppy...Bingo the door is
open...Get out of this room and go to your right...BEFORE entering in
the elevator take something like a bar to your right ...DON'T use the
elevator yet...I've spent a lot of time in this section but I managed to
come to a solution...Go in your inventory and take the bar you've just
collected...At the bottom right side wall of the elevator is a
crack...Use the bar there and push the switch...After the elevator stops
use the hammer on the walland follow the path 'till you find the
egg...Push the lever there to make it go down...
Go back to the elevator and push the switch again...Take back your
bar and push the switch...You'll now go down to the -2 floor where the
hydroflot is...Go down and -if you want- you can see a map of
thesubmarine base in the little house there...
Behind a pillar in front and to the left of the hydroflot are some
stairs...Use them and push the lever there to move the egg...Now go back
down and aim for the hydroflot...NOTE : If you want to know how I found
the code at the top of the lighthouse as well as the coordinates of the
Amerzone continue the path next to the hydroflot...AT the end should be
an elevator...Use it to go up one level and get out...Take a look at the
viewer there and you'll find a number with a different color... 140 in
red... Ok but why 145 then ...?Well if you open the illustrated book
(where you found the age of the old man) and open it to the page where
the hydroflot's plans are you'll see in the uper right corner some birds
and an island...There is an indication there...+ 5- so 140- + 5- =
145...Bingo...
Go back to the hydroflot and get in ...Take the floppy in your
inventory and use it on the opening below the screen...Here choose load
...Plane...And at the coordinates enter 145...Bingo see the awesome
cinematic and go for chapter 2...

( - Chapter Two )

Before doing ANYTHNG save your game...You're out of fuel right...?So
click on the screen and choose SAILING...Then choose the SUBMARINE
option and you'll be in the Amerzone shores...Talk to the old man there
and he says he is in a "Bad mood" because a whale is entraped
underwater...Continue to the "Boat-house" and take the
"Scaphandre"(don't really know what it's called) on the furthest table
and the knife on the furthest wall...
Go out and continue on the shore...Pass the wind thing and continue
untill you reach the hangar...In there you have to take a red "box" and
a "key" (well don't know what it's also called...Sorry ^_^)Go back out
and use the "box" on the Gas thing outside the hangar...Now go back to
the hydroflot and get in...Use the fuel on the opening in the back
(where the egg is) and to the left...Use the computer again and choose
the GRAPNEL option...If you read the green book (Page 3) you'll find
that the lever to use it is just right of the screen...Press it once...
Go back to the "wind" thing you passed by before and examine the
front ( magnifing Lens ) and push the lever there...Now go on there
(arrow) ...Here use the "Scaphandre" on the shortest pipe...Push the
lever and examine the wheel on the left...Turn it...Now use the "key" at
the end of the longest pipe (the one that goes in the water).
Now you should be able to pick the "Scaphandre" and by this mean go
in the water...Here go forward once and use the knife on the thing
there...You'll now see an _awesome_ cinematic...Once you're here move
around and try to find the old hydroflot...Once there click on the
grapnel...Now go out of the water and go see the old fisherman
again...He'll give you a key that unlocks, he says, a chest...Get on the
hydroflot and press the grapnel lever again...Now go to where the hangar
was and continue past the broken plane and past the rocks...You'll
arrive at a dead end with a broken ship (Why all is broken in this level
?) well inside is a chest...Gess what ? This is the chest the fisherman
told you about (duh...) Well use the key on it and take the floppy
inside...
Go back to the wind thing and in the water...Go to where the old
hydroflot was and get in...Examine the screen and you'll find a code :
227.
Jump in the hydroflot and use the floppy...The choose the
"Helicopter" option and enter the coordinates as 227...Bingo another
chapter finished (and another beautifull cinematic earned...)...

This is a "fun" and easy level...Enjoy...
Once again you're out of fuel so use the "Sailing" option to make it
to the other level...
Get out of the hydroflot and go right towards the cemetery...Talk to
the priest there and he'll give you a key (Examine the tomb...It's
Yekoumani...The woman on the pictures in the lighthouse...)Go back to
the hydroflot but now go forward toward the locked gates...Use the key
and go in the village...Here you can examine everything BUT you won't
get anything...Go to the end of the village and a FAT military will knoc
(don't sure on the grammar here) you down...
DON'T RESET ...That's what I would do as I thought that I forgot to
do something (Broken Sword influence)but in fact the game wants you to
be in jail...
Here comes the Fun part...Take the glass lying around somewhere and
use it on the insect in the upper left corner of the wall where the door
is...Now look in the opening at the bottom of the door and use the
"glass-insect" on the bottle of techilla (or whisky)...The guard will
take it and drop down dead (Man everybody who encounter you dies...Maybe
you should check your breath...^_^)...Take his keys and use them on the
door...
Go to the Jeep (on your right) and take the rope and the fuel...
In the center of the town is a well.Use the rope on it and get
down...Always go forward (take note of the door in the left side) untill
you reach some stairs...Get up and talk to the priest a the end of the
church...This man will ALSO die (humm...You haven't done your check
breath, have you?)...Look at the "holy-bible" book and you'll find a
key...Use the key at the end of the church ( some sort of stand ) and
take the letter and the 3rd floppy...Now use the stairs to go back down
and go were the door I told you to note was ( you should have found a
sword somewhere before reaching the door - 2nd screen from the stairs
near a wall if I remember right - ).
At the oposite side of the door is a statue ...Give him your sword
and then press it to open it...This path will bring you were the priest
first was...(I can't manage to find out WHY they made this path as you
can go back simply by using the rope again...)Well, go back to the
hydroflot and use the fuel on the opening near the egg...Enter the
floppy and choose the "glider" option...You've now finished the Disc 1
...

Get out of the hydroflot...Ignore the house to your left but continue
to the jungle...On a rock to the right side is an animal (a magnifing
lens will appear) if you click on it you'll see a bonus mini-
cinematic...Go in the other house by the jungle where you'll find some
fuel and a sheet of paper...Take both and go back to the hydroflot...You
know what you have to do with the fuel right ?So refuel and push the
Start lever...
After another cinematic you'll be blocked by some strange
animals...Here you CAN'T DO ANYTHING but one single thing...So push the
claxon (under te start lever) and you're off...
Another "small" cinematic...Move toward the other animals and they'll
break your engine...Now move to the left and choose the "grapnel"
mode...A grapnel will apear...Here click between the two big rocks (the
grapnel will not dissapear but the position will be in the memery) so
just press the lever to move...
In the other screen do the same thing (aim between the two
rocks...)and in the other screen aim the rock in front of you...Then aim
the little -what seems a first- rock in front of you...In fact it is an
animal that will guide you to the shore...
Follow the line and you'll find him...You'll find an opening in the
left that goes in the forest...It's very perturbing as you don't know
where you are and can easely get lost but you have to in there and
search for some kind of stick that you can pick up...Now go back outside
of the forest and press the action button on the animal...(If you don't
have the weapon you'll see a bonus cinematic...) ell if you press the
action button you'll fire something at him...Take the grapling out of
him and go back to the hydroflot...
Use the arrow to move to the right and the grapling on the rock to
move forward...Then on another rock far in the distance...And then far-
far in front of you...Exactly in front of you...
Get down of the hydroflot and move to the right...Move forward untill
you can go no further...A wood is lying down here somewhere...To the
right of the wood is a little stick...Take it and use it on the wood to
do a fire ...The animals that were blocking you before are now gone...So
go back to the hydroflot and use the grapling at the rock in front and
nearest to you...Again use the grapling in front of you but far-far in
the distance...
Here is a tricky part...You have to use the grapling on a little tiny
rock IN FRON OF YOU just between the water and the right side of the big
triangle rock...Good luck...
All the other rocks are in front of you so the end of the level is
easy...Remember...Right in front of you...

I'll try to make a map for this level as it's pretty confusing...

I must confess that this is my first map so please be indulgent...
Ok so you start this level in the hydroflot (H) before doing anything
take THE EGG...Now go left untill you reach the village (S)...Here
you'll hear some strange laughs (Silent Hill like...) but you can't see
nobody...Continue and enter the first door you encounter to the left
(E)...In this room you'll find a graphic of some strange machine...JUST
UNDERNEATH IT is a drawer...Open it and take the floppy inside...Pass
through the opposite door and walk untill you reach an intersection
(1)where you have to go either left or right...Here look down and take
the black insect there (this insect WON'T be used...Yep that's right
it's just there so you can see / pick it up...If you want you can try
and see at wich insect it correspond in the illustrated book...)...Go
left and to your right you should see a tree (T)...Touch it and get the
fruit...Go back to the intersection and walk 2 screens (2) ...There look
to your left and take the plant...Move 3 screens (3) and in the cave you
should find a red insect at your feets...
Continue the cave and climb the lader...Follow the path untill you
reach a wheel..Turn it and go back in the village...
You'll here a very annoying noise in the village...This is the valve
you've just opened who turns a bird in the center of the village
(O)...Go to the next room to the left (A) and use the plant you
collected at the back of the machine...Take the bol and get to the other
room (B)...Here use the fruit on the back of the machine...Take another
bol and go see the woman near the exit (W) ...
Give it your egg, the two bols and the red insect in that order...
Now go back to the hydroflot and one screen to te right (G)...Click
on the snake and see a beautifull cinematic...
Go back in the hydroflot and let the egg where it originally
was...Use the floppy and choose BOAT...Now push the action lever and the
hydroflot will move...
When it stops look to your right and push the lever outside...Do this
again when you stop and go on for chapter numero 6...

You're now at 30 min 'till the end of the game...Yep that's right the
two last levels are easy and short...
After your hydroflot sank go forward once and search for the
egg...Then aim for the house on the tree...Inside you'll find an vital
item to finish the game...Go back outside and go toward the black "tree"
with something like a trumpet at the end (right of the hydroflot) and
use the item on the bottom / Lowest hole of the tree...
You'll see an animal coming out of the wood...Go were it apeared and
continue untill you reach another tree / trumpet like thing...This time
use your item on the middle hole and yet another animall will apear...
Go back to the clear area and go left...Here you have to be VERY
CAREFULL 'cause you can easelly get lost and turn back to where the
hydroflot was...Hint : NEVER look behind and ALWAYS go forward...You maw
need to go a little right but don't look around ...Anyway you don't have
anything to pick up anymore in this level...
At the end you should find another trumpet like tree next to a wood
machine...Use the item again but this time on the upest hole...The
animals will now come to you...Jump on the middle one and ride it...
You'll arrive at a tree with some stairs on it...Get at the top and
cross the bridge to finish this level...

Go forward and enter the temple...Aproach the commandant and wait
'till he dies too...Take his medals and turn the wheel to the left...Go
outside and down the stairs...Turn around and you should see an opening
in the stairs...Get in and down on the left...Turn the wheel near the
lava full thing and put the medals in the bol...Take the key that will
apear and search the left hand side wall for a keyhole...Enter the key
and turn it 5/6 times to the right...Then go back upstairs and tuch the
white wings to see a cinematic (NOTE : You can see another cinematic
showing you not taking off if you don't do all this -key-)...
You'll land next to the lava...Now walk 2/3 screens to the right (not
clockside) and search the left side of the path (toward the lava) for a
dead bird...Now continue this way 3/4 screens and you should see an
opening to the right...Go in and use the egg on tha altar at the
end...Go back outside and walk 2/3 screens...To your left should be a
path leading to the center of the volcano...At the end of this put the
egg and then the dead bird...
Now lay back and see the wonderfull but too short ending sequece...
Well done...

Solution for Amerzone: The Explorer's Legacy

Сперва вам ничего не остается, как послушать, что скажет почтальон. Затем
идите к маяку. Перед тем, как пройти через ворота, загляните в почтовый ящик
и вы найдете там письмо, которое просил вас отнести к Валембойсу почтальон.
Пройдите через ворота и войдите в дом. Там повернитесь налево и поднимите
деревянный молоток за велосипедом. Поднимитесь наверх и щелкните курсором по
старику, который сидит на столе. Это и есть Валембойс. (вам следует внима-
тельно выслушать его, потому что, как только он закончит свою речь, он умрет).
Повернитесь налево и вы увидите телефон, который висит на стене. Щелкните
по нему курсором, а затем откройте инвентори. Вам необходимо вскрыть письмо,
которые вы подобрали. Это письмо от Музея Валембойсу. Hаверху страницы есть
телефонный номер: 03 46 52 81 79, наберите его. Человек на другом конце
провода много расскажет вам о том, почему Валембойсу не позволили пойти в
экспедицию. Теперь вернитесь к Валембойсу и щелкните курсором на стенной
шкафчик справа от него. Там, в ящичке, вы обнаружите еще одно письмо.
Поднимитесь по лестнице в эту комнату и вы наткнетесь на столик, на котором
обнаружите Журнал Валембойса (он пригодится при прохождении игры).
Заберитесь по лестнице справа. Hа другом конце небольшого балкона вы
обнаружите еще одно письмо. Теперь спуститесь вниз и пройдите через дверь-ло-
вушку на полу. Это можно сделать сразу же как вы спустились вниз. Справа от
вас есть выключатель. Таким образом вы должны включить свет, чтобы идти
дальше. Идите по корридору мимо второй лестницы к третьей. Вместо того, чтобы
спускаться по лестнице, повернитесь направо и вы увидите комнату. Войдите
туда. Там вы найдете компьютер. Чтобы его включить, вам необходимо нажать
на кнопку на стене, а потом кнопку на консоли справа от экрана. Возьмите диск

куpсоpом на маску для погpужения. Пpойдите немного впеpед и посмотpите
вниз. Вы должны увидеть очеpтания небольшой бутылки на земле. Чтобы

вы увидите человека по имени Ка Бум. Вскоре вы просыпаетесь в камере.
Hа скамейке подберите чашку и используйте ее, чтобы поймать таракана, который
уселся на двери. Щелкните курсором на отверстие внизу двери и вы обнаружите

Подберите его. Идите вперед до лестницы. Заберитесь по ней и напротив вас
должно быть колесо, которое открывает водяные ворота и позволяет всему в
деревне работать. Поверните его. Вернитесь в деревню. Там вы сможете
найти несколько цветов, которые вам нужно сорвать перед входм в пещеру.
Войдите в деревню и найдите машину с молотком. Положите кокос в нее, а
затем возьмите сосуд с кокосовой пастой. Далее найдите другую машину и

Глава 5

выходом. Осмотрите шкафчик в этом столе. Там вы обнаружите диск. Выйдите
через запасную дверь и слева вы увидите дерево. Щелкните по нему курсором
и кокос упадет вниз. Подберите его. пройдите вперед и поверните налево.
Дальше идите вперед пока не достигнете пещеры. Пройдите еще немного
вперед, а затем посмотрите вниз. Вы должны заметить красного жука на полу.
Подберите его. Идите вперед до лестницы. Заберитесь по ней и напротив вас
должно быть колесо, которое открывает водяные ворота и позволяет всему в
деревне работать. Поверните его. Вернитесь в деревню. Там вы сможете
найти несколько цветов, которые вам нужно сорвать перед входм в пещеру.
Войдите в деревню и найдите машину с молотком. Положите кокос в нее, а
затем возьмите сосуд с кокосовой пастой. Далее найдите другую машину и
положите в нее цветы. Возьмите еще один сосуд. Таким образом, у вас должно
быть два сосуда. Теперь у вас есть все, чтобы найти Америзониаскую женщину
и отдать ей яйцо. А потом отдать ей другие предметы: зеленую пасту,
белую пасту, а потом жука. Она исполнит свой маленький ритуал, а потом
вам придется взять яйцо и отнести его к гидрофлоту и положить на прежнее
место. Покиньте гидрофлот и повернитесь направо и пройдите на один шаг

она будет отозвана Америзонианской женщиной. Теперь можно нажать на рычаг.
Вернитесь к гидрофлоту. Затем гидрофлот должен войти в лифт. Чтобы
задействовать лифт, повернитесь направо и нажмите на рычаг. Еще одна
остановка и еще. Рычаг должен быть справа от вас.
Глава 6

тропу, следуя по которой, вы увидите еще один громкоговоритель. Hа этот
раз щелкните курсором по сумке 2 раза и вы вновь увидите это жирафное
существо. Вернитесь на открытое пространство, но не идите все время к
гидрофлоту. Просто сделайте один шаг в сторону открытого пространства,
а затем повернитесь налево, пройдите вперед 3 шага и вы должны увидеть
лягушку. Идите между двумя деревьями, а потом вперед на 9 шагов. Возможно
вам прдется повернуть направо. Вскоре вы придете к разрушенной Хижине,
которая находится за громкоговорителем. Щелкните на сумку 3 раза.
Появятся жирафы. Заберитесь на одного из них справа и щекните курсором
вперед. Вы окажетесь на лестнице. Заберитесь по ней и вы попадете на
веревочный мост. Вам необходимо будет его перейти.
Глава 7
Продолжайте идти вперед, пока не окажетесь в храме. Поговорите с генералом.
Как только он уснет или сдохнет, возьмите у него медали. Повернитесь налево
и поверните колесо. Покиньте храм и спутитесь по леснице. Вы должны
заметить открывшуюся дверь. Идите туда, а потом вниз по ступеням слева.
Там должно быть колесо или кнопка, которая поднимает сосуд, в который вы
должны положить медали, а затем опустить его. Теперь вы сможете взять
ключ. Скважина для ключа находится с левой стороны стены вдали комнаты.
Поверните ключ в замке. Поднимайтесь по лестнице и занимайте место в планере.
Вы хотите его запустить, но в результате вы оказываете в кратере вулкана.
Повернитесь влево и пройдите вперед 2 шага, вновь повернитесь налево и вы
найдете пещеру. Войдите в нее и следуйте в направлении объекта, который
подобен трону. Положите на него яйцо. Через некоторое время возьмите его
назад и покиньте помещение. Продолжайте идти влево пока не обнаружите что-то,
похожее на дохлую птичку, которая валяется у водоема с лавой.
Идите дальше. Положите яйцо. Hа него положите дохлую птицу.
Hасладитесь зрелищем появления новых маленьких пташек, которые и будут
символизировать завершение игры!!!

Solution for Amerzone: The Explorer's Legacy
This is how I completed the game, I haven't included everything you
can dothough everything you need to know on how to complete it is
here. There are extra little things you can do and see but aren't
relevant to the game.
Ok lets get started!
Chapter 1
Firstly you have no choice but to listen to what the postman has to
say, but once he leaves go to the lighthouse. Before you enter
through the gates look in the mail box and you'll see the letter
that the postman wanted you to take to Valembois (the man who lives
there). Go through the gates and enter the house, once inside turn
to your left and pick up the mallet next to the bike. Go up stairs
and click on the old man sat at the table, this is Valembois (you
better listen carefully to what he has to say because as soon as he
finishes speaking that's it, he dies). Turn to your left and notice
that there is a phone on the wall, click on it and then open
inventory, here you should open the letter you picked up outside,
it's a letter from the Museum to Valembois. At the top of the page
there is a phone number: 03 46 52 81 79, dial it, you'll here this
man on the other end and he'll tell you pretty much why Valembois
was not allowed to go on the expedition. Once this is over with ! !
! turn back to Valembois and click on the cupboard to the right of
him, here you will find another letter in the drawer. Go up the
stairs in this room and you'll come face to face with a desk, here
you'll find Valembois's Journal (this comes in handy through out the
game). Climb the the ladder to your right and at the other end of
the small balcony there is yet another letter. Now go back down to
the ground floor and go through the trap door on the floor, when you
reach the bottom immediatly to your right is the light switch, you
need to turn the lights on or you can't go any further. Go down the
newly lit corridor and down a second set of stairs, continue
forwards until you reach the third staircase. Instead of going down
the stairs, turn to your right and you'll see a room, enter this
room and you'll come across a computer. To turn the computer on you
have to press the button on the wall and then the button on the
console to the right of the screen. Pick up the disk a put it i! ! !
n the machine, click load and after a few seconds it will ask you
for a password (try Valembois date of birth, it's written in his
journal). The door down the third set of stairs is now open, go to
it. Once your through the door look to the floor on the right hand
side and you'll find an object that resembles a sardine tin key
except a lot bigger. Enter the lift and place the key thing in a
hole in the bottom right hand corner of the back wall and then click
on the lever to activate the lift. The lift will come to an abrupt
halt, turn to face the wall behind you, there is actually a door
here but it's been bricked up, use the mallet on the wall and then
go down the corridor that has been revealed. When you enter the room
at the end of the corridor you can see the egg, turn to your left
and go forward you will come to a lever, pull it and the egg will be
transported to another room. To get to this room you have to make
your way back to the lift. Once back in the lift, click on ! ! ! the
lever and the lift will return to it's original floor. Remove the
key thing and click on the lever again, this will take you to the
lower ground floor. Exit the lift and leave through the door in
front of you. go down the stairs and turn to your right, go forward
once and again turn to your right go forward again and you should
see a lever in front of you, if you don't just keep walking around
near the stairs until you find it. When you've found the lever pull
it, this operates the hook above the hydraflot. The hook transfers
the egg into the hydraflot.. Ok your nearly done here! All you have
to do now is to go down the path on the right hand side of the
hydraflot until you reach another lift. Enter this lift and go up
one level. Here there is a room containing a telescope, look through
it and you'll automatgically see a flock of birds flying off into
the distance at 140 degrees, remember this number. Make your way
back to the hydraflot and enter it on the right hand side.! ! ! Put
the disk that you found in the computer room into the machine and
click load and then select aeroplane mode, it will now ask for
information (meaning a degree) and 140 doesn't seem to work. So open
the journal in your inventory and turn to page 4, here you will find
another angle which you have to add on to the original. Enter the
final degree into the computer, click on the star shape and
everything should confirm. If your lucky the hydraflot will start up
automatically but on some occasions you have to do the honours, if
this happens the button to start the machine is to the right of the
computer screen, click it and away you go!
Chapter 2
Leave your ship and talk to the man sitting on the pier, he'll tell
you about the whale trapped under the water and how he basically
wants you to do something about it (he basically can't be bothered).
Right, cross the bridge to the mainland and enter the shipwreck
which is actually a bar, in here you will find a diving helmet and a
knife in the dartboard at the back of the room. Exit here and make
you way further down the island, stop when you reach a gas tank
outside a tool shed. Enter the tool shed and on your right you'll
find a gas canister, go to the back of the room and you'll find a
spanner, collect both of these and then go back outside. Use the gas
tank to fill the canister and then take it back to the hydraflot,
the hole for the gas is to the left of the egg. Go back to the
mainland and go to the structure that looks like a windmill. Face it
head on but don't go up the stairs, instead find the magnifying
glass symbol on the front, click in that place and you'll see ! ! !
a handle which you have to pull. Now go up the stairs and turn back
to face the structure, to the left you'll see another magnifying
glass symbol to click on, when you've done this you'll see a wheel,
turn it. Now look at the floor and you'll see a hose, atach the
diving helmet to it, turn to face the water and notice the pipe
leading into the water, use the spanner on the piece of pipe nearest
the water. Turn back to the structure and pull the lever in front of
you, you can now click on the diving helmet which takes you under
water. Go forward once and look down, you should see a small bottle
shape on the ground, use the knife on this to free the whale. Go
back and talk to the man on the pier again, he'll now tell you about
a chest hidden somewhere on the islandand gives you the key for it.
The chest is on the other side of the island so walk round untill
you come to the cliffs with a path going through them, follow this
and you'll come to a cabin, in here is the chest contai! ! ! ning a
disk. Go back to the hydraflot and click on the computer, select
grapnel mode and then pull the lever next to the screen this lowers
the grapnel into the water.Now comes the challenge, finding the
grapnel under the water. Make your way back to the diving helmet and
click on it to take you under the water. Try doing this, it worked
for me once there are a couple of ways to do it though: Go forward
twice, turn right and then forward 3 times. You should come across
Valembois's old hydraflot that sunk many years ago and the grapnel.
Attach the grapnel to the hydraflots door and then go back to your
own hydraflot. Pull up the grapnel using the lever and then go back
under water to find the sunken hydraflot with the now removed door.
Go inside the hydraflot and notice the number on the computer,
remember it and go back to your hydraflot. Insert the disk into the
computer and click on load, then select Helicopter mode and enter
the number that you found under water. Start the ! ! ! engines and
away you go!
Chapter 3
Exit the ship and go forward until you see a turning on your right
(just before the gates). Go down the path and you'll end up in a
grave yard, talk to the priest near one of the graves and he'll give
you the key to the gates. Go to the gate and let yourself in. Walk
to the other side of the village and you'll see a man CA BOOM he
wacks you one round the head. You wake up in jail. Pick up the cup
on the bench and use it to capture the bug on the wall near the
door. Click on the hole at the bottom of the door and you'll see a
bottle of tequillia, use the cup containing the bug on the bottle
and then watch what happens. Click back on the hole and you'll now
see some keys, click on them and let yourself out. Turn to your
right and you should see a jeep, take the rope and the gas canister
and then make your way back to the well. Attach the rope to the well
and climb down. Go forward 3 times and then look on the floor to
your right you should see a sword, pick it up and then contin! ! !
ue forwards until you reach a ladder. Climb the ladder and you'll
find yourself inside a church. Go talk to the priest (again you
better listen to him because once he finishes, he dies). Find the
bible and turn the pages until you find a key, this key opens the
gold cupboard on the alter which contains another disk and a letter.
Go back down the ladder and continue forward until you have a statue
on one side and a gate one the other. Put the sword in the hand of
the statue and then pull it down, this will open the gate opposite.
Go through the gate and you'll end up at another ladder, climb it
and you'll end up in a shed, exit and you'll be in the grave yard
again. Make your way back to the hydraflot. Isert the disk and click
on load, select sailing mode and start the engines.
Chapter 4
Leave the ship on the right and you'll be on a small pier with a hut.
Enter the hut and pick it up everything in here, make your way down
the path to the left of you as you exit the hut. There is another
hut at the end, pick up everything here (if anything) and then make
your way back to the hydraflot and carry on with your journey.
You'll eventually come to a place where some creatures are blocking
your way, all you have to do here is honk your horn (the button is
below the lever for the grapnel). Go forward and click on the
buffalo, they will destroy your engine. Turn to your left and click
forwards, the computer will then tell you about the engine failure.
So try using the grapnel and attaching it to rocks (what you do is
click on the rock you want to attach the grapnel to and then pull
the lever). You'll eventually come to a place where it looks like
there's nowhere to go, but you see that buffalo in the water? Try
firing the grapnel at it. Ok you can now see the next rock! ! ! to
shoot at but you have no grapnel, that is still attached to the
buffalo. Exit the hydraflot and go forwards until you see a turning
on your left. Follow that path and you'll end up in the jungle, in
here you have to find the tranquilizer gun, try this: keep going
straight but when you have a choice of path take the right one not
the left (it worked for me). When you have the gun make your way
back to the buffalo and shoot it, you can now remove the grapnel.
Return to the hydraflotand continue on your way. You are stopped
again, this time by some very annoying creatures who remove the
grapnel from where you attach it and throw it back at you then
laugh. It's time to get your own back! Exit the hydraflot and follow
the path round until you come face to face with some bee hives. Look
to the ground and you'll find a small stick on your right and a
larger branch on your left. Use the small stick on the large one to
start a fire, smoking the the bees out, watch those creatures r! ! !
un! Return to the hydraflot and continue on your way and you'll
eventually end up at another pier, this is the end of this chapter.
Chapter 5
Pick up the egg and exit the hydraflot, turn to your left and follow
the path until you reach the village. Find the cabin with the desk
and the back door. Look in the desk drawer and you'll find a disk,
then exit through the back door and you'll see a tree to your left,
click on it and a coconut will fall on the floor, pick it up. Go
forward and the turn left go froward until you reach a cave, go
forward once more and then look down, you should be able to see a
red bug on the floor, pick it up. Continue forward and you'll reach
a ladder, climb it and in front of you should be the wheel that
opens the water gate and makes everything in the village work, so
turn it. go back to the village on the way look to the right and you
should be able to find some flowers that you can pick up near the
exit to the cave. Enter the village and find the machine with a
hammer attached to it place the coconut in it and then pick up the
bowl with the paste made from the coconut. Next find the othe! ! ! r
machine and put the flowers in it and collect another bowl filled
with paste. In inventory you should have 2 bowls, a bu and the egg.
Now all you have to do is find the Amerzonian woman and give her the
egg, then in this order give her the rest of the items: The green
paste, the white paste and then the bug. She'll preform her little
ritual and then you have to pick the egg back up and take it back to
the hydraflot and put it back on it's stand. Leave the hydraloft and
turn right go forward once, turn right and you'll see a snake
wrapped around the lever that you need. You should be able to just
click on the snake and it will be called away by the Amerzonian
woman leaving the lever free for you to pull. Go back into the
hydralot and click forwards, the hydraflot should enter the lift. To
activate the lift turn to the right and pull the lever, you'll have
one more stop and again the lever should be on the right hand side.
Chapter 6
Find and pick up the egg and then make your way to the ladder leading
up to a cabin in a tree. In this cabin there is a small bag, you'll
need this to complete the level. Go back down to the swamp and head
towards the pole with what looks like a loud speaker on top, click
on this and you'll get a close up of 3 rungs coming out of the pole.
Take the bag and click it on the 3rd rung, a giraffe type creature
will appear in the distance, make your way to where you saw the
creature and you'll see a path, follow this untill you see another
loud speaker type thing, this time click the bag on the 2nd rung and
you'll see the same giraffe creature in the distance, unfortunatly
you can't cut through to where the creature is, so you'll have to
take the long way around. So go back to the clearing but don't go
all the way to the hydraflot. Just take one step out into the
clearing and then turn to your left, go forward 3 times and you
should come across a frog, take the path between the 2 tr! ! ! ees
and then go forward 9 times occasionally you might have to turn
slightly to the right. You'll eventually come to a fallen Cabin next
to a loud speaker, click the bag on the 3rd rung and this will call
the giraffe creatures to you. Climb on to the one on your right and
then click forwards this will bring you to a ladder, climb it and
you'll eventually come to a rope bridge, cross it.
Chapter 7
Keep going forwards until you end up inside the temple, talk to the
general and as soon as he either dies or falls asleep take his
medals. turn to the left and turn the wheel on the wall all the way
round. leave the temple and go down the stairs and the turn around
you should be able to see a newly opened door, go through it and
down the stairs on your left, there should be a sort of couldren at
the bottom and there should be either a button or wheel which lifts
up a bowl from the couldren which you have to put the medals in and
then lower them into it. Once you've done that you can pick up the
key that has been formed. The key hole is on the left hand wall near
the back of the room, when you've found it turn the key all the way
round and then go back up the stairs turn to your lft and go and sit
in the glider. By activating the glider you end up crashing into the
crater of a volcanoe (lucky you!). Turn left and go forward twice
turn left again and you'll come across a cave, e! ! ! nter this and
go towards the objest that looks like a throne and put the egg down
on it, after the short sequence take the egg back and leave the
cave. Continue to your left and after going forwards once or twice
you should see something that looks like a dead bird to your right
near the lava pool. When you have both these things continue to your
left untill you come across a piece of land that sticks further out
into the lava then anywhere else here is where you have to put the
egg down. On the egg put the dead bird and there you go look at all
the little birdies being born, symbolizing the end of the game!!!

on the bench and use it to capture the bug on the wall near the
door. Click on the hole at the bottom of the door and you'll see a
bottle of tequillia, use the cup containing the bug on the bottle
and then watch what happens. Click back on the hole and you'll now
see some keys, click on them and let yourself out. Turn to your
right and you should see a jeep, take the rope and the gas canister
and then make your way back to the well. Attach the rope to the well
and climb down. Go forward 3 times and then look on the floor to
your right you should see a sword, pick it up and then contin! ! !
ue forwards until you reach a ladder. Climb the ladder and you'll
find yourself inside a church. Go talk to the priest (again you
better listen to him because once he finishes, he dies). Find the
bible and turn the pages until you find a key, this key opens the
gold cupboard on the alter which contains another disk and a letter.
Go back down the ladder and continue forward until you have a statue
on one side and a gate one the other. Put the sword in the hand of
the statue and then pull it down, this will open the gate opposite.
Go through the gate and you'll end up at another ladder, climb it
and you'll end up in a shed, exit and you'll be in the grave yard
again. Make your way back to the hydraflot. Isert the disk and click
on load, select sailing mode and start the engines.
Chapter 4
Leave the ship on the right and you'll be on a small pier with a hut.
Enter the hut and pick it up everything in here, make your way down
the path to the left of you as you exit the hut. There is another
hut at the end, pick up everything here (if anything) and then make
your way back to the hydraflot and carry on with your journey.
You'll eventually come to a place where some creatures are blocking
your way, all you have to do here is honk your horn (the button is
below the lever for the grapnel). Go forward and click on the
buffalo, they will destroy your engine. Turn to your left and click
forwards, the computer will then tell you about the engine failure.
So try using the grapnel and attaching it to rocks (what you do is
click on the rock you want to attach the grapnel to and then pull
the lever). You'll eventually come to a place where it looks like
there's nowhere to go, but you see that buffalo in the water? Try
firing the grapnel at it. Ok you can now see the next rock! ! ! to
shoot at but you have no grapnel, that is still attached to the
buffalo. Exit the hydraflot and go forwards until you see a turning
on your left. Follow that path and you'll end up in the jungle, in
here you have to find the tranquilizer gun, try this: keep going
straight but when you have a choice of path take the right one not
the left (it worked for me). When you have the gun make your way
back to the buffalo and shoot it, you can now remove the grapnel.
Return to the hydraflotand continue on your way. You are stopped
again, this time by some very annoying creatures who remove the
grapnel from where you attach it and throw it back at you then
laugh. It's time to get your own back! Exit the hydraflot and follow
the path round until you come face to face with some bee hives. Look
to the ground and you'll find a small stick on your right and a
larger branch on your left. Use the small stick on the large one to
start a fire, smoking the the bees out, watch those creatures r! ! !
un! Return to the hydraflot and continue on your way and you'll
eventually end up at another pier, this is the end of this chapter.
Chapter 5
Pick up the egg and exit the hydraflot, turn to your left and follow
the path until you reach the village. Find the cabin with the desk
and the back door. Look in the desk drawer and you'll find a disk,
then exit through the back door and you'll see a tree to your left,
click on it and a coconut will fall on the floor, pick it up. Go
forward and the turn left go froward until you reach a cave, go
forward once more and then look down, you should be able to see a
red bug on the floor, pick it up. Continue forward and you'll reach
a ladder, climb it and in front of you should be the wheel that
opens the water gate and makes everything in the village work, so
turn it. go back to the village on the way look to the right and you
should be able to find some flowers that you can pick up near the
exit to the cave. Enter the village and find the machine with a
hammer attached to it place the coconut in it and then pick up the
bowl with the paste made from the coconut. Next find the othe! ! ! r
machine and put the flowers in it and collect another bowl filled
with paste. In inventory you should have 2 bowls, a bu and the egg.
Now all you have to do is find the Amerzonian woman and give her the
egg, then in this order give her the rest of the items: The green
paste, the white paste and then the bug. She'll preform her little
ritual and then you have to pick the egg back up and take it back to
the hydraflot and put it back on it's stand. Leave the hydraloft and
turn right go forward once, turn right and you'll see a snake
wrapped around the lever that you need. You should be able to just
click on the snake and it will be called away by the Amerzonian
woman leaving the lever free for you to pull. Go back into the
hydralot and click forwards, the hydraflot should enter the lift. To
activate the lift turn to the right and pull the lever, you'll have
one more stop and again the lever should be on the right hand side.
Chapter 6
Find and pick up the egg and then make your way to the ladder leading
up to a cabin in a tree. In this cabin there is a small bag, you'll
need this to complete the level. Go back down to the swamp and head
towards the pole with what looks like a loud speaker on top, click
on this and you'll get a close up of 3 rungs coming out of the pole.
Take the bag and click it on the 3rd rung, a giraffe type creature
will appear in the distance, make your way to where you saw the
creature and you'll see a path, follow this untill you see another
loud speaker type thing, this time click the bag on the 2nd rung and
you'll see the same giraffe creature in the distance, unfortunatly
you can't cut through to where the creature is, so you'll have to
take the long way around. So go back to the clearing but don't go
all the way to the hydraflot. Just take one step out into the
clearing and then turn to your left, go forward 3 times and you
should come across a frog, take the path between the 2 tr! ! ! ees
and then go forward 9 times occasionally you might have to turn
slightly to the right. You'll eventually come to a fallen Cabin next
to a loud speaker, click the bag on the 3rd rung and this will call
the giraffe creatures to you. Climb on to the one on your right and
then click forwards this will bring you to a ladder, climb it and
you'll eventually come to a rope bridge, cross it.
Chapter 7
Keep going forwards until you end up inside the temple, talk to the
general and as soon as he either dies or falls asleep take his
medals. turn to the left and turn the wheel on the wall all the way
round. leave the temple and go down the stairs and the turn around
you should be able to see a newly opened door, go through it and
down the stairs on your left, there should be a sort of couldren at
the bottom and there should be either a button or wheel which lifts
up a bowl from the couldren which you have to put the medals in and
then lower them into it. Once you've done that you can pick up the
key that has been formed. The key hole is on the left hand wall near
the back of the room, when you've found it turn the key all the way
round and then go back up the stairs turn to your lft and go and sit
in the glider. By activating the glider you end up crashing into the
crater of a volcanoe (lucky you!). Turn left and go forward twice
turn left again and you'll come across a cave, e! ! ! nter this and
go towards the objest that looks like a throne and put the egg down
on it, after the short sequence take the egg back and leave the
cave. Continue to your left and after going forwards once or twice
you should see something that looks like a dead bird to your right
near the lava pool. When you have both these things continue to your
left untill you come across a piece of land that sticks further out
into the lava then anywhere else here is where you have to put the
egg down. On the egg put the dead bird and there you go look at all
the little birdies being born, symbolizing the end of the game!!!
Well that's it I hope it helps and I apologise for any little
spelling mistakes and my bad grammer!

Solution #2 for Amerzone: The Explorer's Legacy
Chapter I
You are on the road of the lighthouse, the postman, returns from there.
He speaks to you about a letter, you will recover it later. Advance straight,
until noticing on your left a telescope. Look at the flight of the birds then:
in fact geese take the pa th of the migration... you will understand later!
Take again your road. At the iron gate, take the letter, open the gate. Cross
the court and enter. Take the hammer on the left, and climb the stairs:
Valembois awaits you.Listen to what he has to say to y ou, in a last breath...
He entrusts you the mission of bringing back an egg to Amerzone, and dies
before you can refuse... the adventure will start! On right-hand side is a
desk, take the documents in the drawer (a letter of the president of Amerzone,
an d a letter of his friend Mackowski). Examine the photograph of woman on the
table... An old love of Valembois? Climb. Examine all the elements of the
office. Take the book of voyage of Valembois, it will be essential for you
throughout your course. A small projection of slides? Click on the white
switch behind the equipment, then on the slides: you discover two photographs
of the same woman. Climb the stairs out of wood. At the bottom, a letter, a
message of Valembois which is intended for you: it tells you about the voyage,
an d your mission. You can read his book of voyage, you find your next stages
there... Go down again, and climb the spiral staircase. Examine the plans of
the hydraflot. You can start the reduced model (nothing special). Open the
gate, you find yourself out side. Climb the stairs. Look in the telescope,
once again geese which leave in migration. Ah, a detail, you know now that
they migrate to Amerzone! Their destination will be yours... But this
telescope does not allow anything, you are not in the axis of their departure.
Still climb. Enter the cabin, you discover a mechanism (a wheel) which turns
on ly if you entered the three numbers above... which correspond to your
destination. Not for now, then! Go down again, take again the gate, always go
down.In the part where you met Valembois, notice the telephone, and dial the
telephone number of the Natural history museum (you have a letter on you).
Still go down, and open the trap door on the ground. Activate the switch on
