Hint for Adventures of Willy Beamish, The


				DAY ONE:

SCHOOL:

Look in the desk and pick up the white crayon, the red crayon and the wood.
Use the white crayon on the wood. You now have a hall pass.

Wait for the teacher to fall asleep.

Sneak out of class, and when the coach talks to you, reply with the:
"SCHOOLS OUT AND I'M HISTORY" answer.

You will be sent to the bathroom.
Spider is there, and he wants to beat you up, so give him the Gamebuddy and
he'll leave you alone.

Leave and exit the school.


BEAMISH HOUSE:

If the mail is in the slot, dont touch it or you'll get in trouble later.

If at any time, your dog is hungry or wants a walk, give him just that
or you will be in trouble.

If you push Brianna on the swing, don't select dialogue choice 1 (To push her
harder on the swing) or she will fly off and get hurt and you will get the
blame.

When you help your mom in the kitchen, you will cut your thumb. Go upstairs to
the bathroom an look in the cupboard. Make sure you put on iodine and a bandage
or something could happen to you later.

If you go up to the attic where your father has a train set, dont activate the
switch and you will not get into trouble.

Go to Tiffany's room and take her diary so that when your dad gives her the
key to your Nintari you can trade it back again, while she is in the bath.
Or you could put Horny in the bath and she gives you the key and you get to
keep the diary.

If you get in trouble because your dog is begging at the table, select the
"HERE, BOY. YOU'RE PART OF THE FAMILY, TOO." dialogue option.

If you need to raise some money, you could mow the lawn (when your dad, Gordon,
tells you to), which is worth 2 bucks.
If you wash the Grange Rover (on day 2) you get 5 dollars.

Brianna might fall off the bed. If she does, help her up and your trouble-meter
will go down.


				DAY TWO:

BEAMISH HOUSE:

Same as before, feed Duffy and take him for a walk when ever he wants one.

Get the flies from Willy's dresser.

Go to the tree fort.


TREE FORT:

If Perry's got a card you want, trade him the diary for it (if you've still
got it). It doesn't matter if you don't get it, because it is not essential
for completing the game.

Try and find a comic book somewhere here, and some flies.


SLICE OF LIFE PIZZA PARLOR:

You can only get in here on day two with Dana and Perry.
                                        
If spider wants to waste you in the restroom, give him the comic.
Or you can quickly take off the no-smoking sign and put it in the bin
before he comes in and then give him the comic.

If the man with a camera asks for your picture, buy one. You need it on
Day three.


SLOEFFER PARK:

Buy some Slam Dunk Cola (if you want) and give it to Horny. See how far
he jumps with and without it?

Compare how far he jumps when Gigi is there, and when she is not.


				DAY THREE:

OLDE TOWN:


OK T-SHIRT KIOSK:

If you want a t-shirt, you'll need the photo and five dollars.

Also check out the machine next to the Kiosk - you'll be going there later.


FERRY MAN:

You will either need a coin from the fountain (only take one, or you'll get
busted by the cop!) or you could trade in the baseball card for a ride.


WEST FRUMPTON:

You need to pick up an entry blank from the Tootsweet booth.


GOLDEN BOWL BAR:

When the gang attacks you, Ray will throw you the wrench.
Throw a smoke bomb at them and quickly open the hydrant with the wrench.
Now run as fast as you can to the Tootsweet Pavillion, and your
Oriental friends will help you out.


				DAY FOUR:

OLDE TOWNE:

You must have a t-shirt from here (it costs 5 dollars).

Get a lottery ticket from the machine.


TREE FORT:

Give the t-shirt with the photo on it to Dana and she will enter Gigi in
the frog-contest.

TOOTSWEET FROG JUMPING CONTEST:

Don't give Horny the Slam-Dunk Cola or he will be disqualified.

Give the flies to Turbo the frog so that he falls asleep, and he won't
be able to jump. You must put them on the left, near Horny, though,
or you will get in trouble for feeding the frog.

Wait until your jump-o-meter is as high as it can get before you jump,
or else you will make small hops and it will be very hard to win the contest.

Follow Horny into the building after you win.


TOOTSWEET BUILDING:

After you are caught by the guard, you must put the G.I. Jim dog tags and the
Nintari key togethor. Use them on the guard (togethor) to hypnotize him.
The correct phrase is "Hoopa, Coller, Agamemmon".


HUMPFORD MANSION:

The only way you can get over there is by using the jet-ski you won in
the contest.

These are the correct dialog responses when talking to the parrot:
     1) Sure. Hi. What's your name?
     2)	Who's Harry?
     1)	Go on. Tell me more, I'm all ears.
     2)	They can't do that, can they?

Only get the chalice and the tablecloth from the dining room.

Put the tablecloth infront of the armour, then you can knock it over.
Get the map and the helmet from the armour.


THE KITCHEN:

This has several steps. First, use the chalice. This will distract the chef.
Use the butter from the saucepan to make the floor slippery.
Push the cauldron closer to the chef.
Now go back to the kitchen entrance and jump on the conveyer.
Quickly shove the helmet on her head.
Turn off the conveyer and release the frogs.
Leave the room quickly.

Now get yourself caught and watch how you are rescued.


LOCAL #409 PLUMBERS UNION

Throw the plumber at Louis.
Take the security pass on his desk.
Leave quickly (out the window).


GOLDEN BOWL BAR

To get in, you must take the radio/tape recorder from the jetski.
Put the phone (at the Plumber's Union) on top of the radio.
Dial 432-SIGN (7446) and record the astrological conversation.
Call the Golden Bowl and ask for Ray, then put the phone on top of the
radio/tape recorder and play back the recording ro him.

Once you are in, give Burt the lottery ticket and take a nude-calander
from the bar.


HUMPFORD SLUDGE WORKS

Give the calendar to the plumbers. They will let you pass, then show the
security pass to the guard and you're in.

To get past Frank and Frankie, turn on the control panel and enter the code
in the correct colour order. The order can be found on the back of your map.
When the little light turns green, wait for the guards to cross and then
push the lever to the left.

To get rid of these guards, follow the steps in order:
 	Type AIR on the control panel and wait for the guards to appear.
	When they come, hit ENTER and they will fall off the catwalk.
	Now type TRAM and press ENTER, but be quick 'cause more
	guards are coming your way.
	Now go quickly out of the room.


Stanley is the next guy to get rid of, so when he throws his hat at you,
put the target cross-hair on him and throw it back. This should knock
him out. Also, don't run back to the center of the tram-walk until he's
out cold. Wait until Stanley gets "plunged" then jump onto the other
piston while it is extended. Hop on the tram to get out of that room.


TRUB-TRAY TRAM TUNNELS:

From Grand Junction, go forward to Conjunction Junction, then go right.
When you reach Compunction Junction, go left and then straight through
Malfunction Junction. Keep going until you reach Petticoat Junction.
Take a left here.


HOT SLUDGE VAT:

Select the yo-yo from Willy's inventory and place it on him.
When Leona and Louis start laughing at you on the rim of the vat,
throw the yo-yo at them.
Flush the main colitis valve and you're outta there!

Щелкните на себя для вызова инвентаря, напишите белым мелом на дощечке слова
'Hall Pass'. Щелкните на нее и это закроет инвентарей. Отдайте его тренеру.
Идите в туалет. В туалете Паук потребует кое-что от вас. Отдайте ему игрушки.
Теперь вы можете покинуть школу.

 Если вы поспешите, то сможете перехватить
письмо, которое послал вашим родителям директор. Возьмите письмо. Пройдите на
кухню. Поговорите с матерью. Покачайте Brianna, но не перестарайтесь. Мама
заставит вас резать морковь и вы порежете палец. Поднимитесь в ванну. Нажмите
TAB для активизации помещения. Стрелка укажет на полку. щелкните на нее и
возьмите аптечку. Воспользуйтесь йодом и пластырем.

 Вернитесь в комнату и
поиграйте с Nintari. Вы не сможете этого сделать до тех пор, пока не подлечите
палец.

 Пойдите в столовую и пообедайте. Будьте паинькой и отдайте письмо папе.
Он рассердится и отдаст ключи от Nintari сестре. Поднимитесь наверх. Мать
попросит отнести сестре кондиционер.  Зайдите к Brianne и помогите ей вернуть в
постель. Идите в ванну. Вы увидите кондиционер и ключи на столе. Есть несколько
вариантов, как отобрать ключи. Первое - использовать на ней действие лягушки и

 День 2

и отец даст вам $5. Поднимитесь на самый верх. Поговорите в тренажерной комнате
с отцом. Выйдите из дома и идите в деревянный форт. Поговорите с друзьями.
Возьмите книгу. Посмотрите, Horny влюбился в Gigi. После этого выйдите из форта
и вы очутитесь в пицерии. Дайте человеку $1 и он сфотографирует вашу команду.
Теперь вами займется Паук, отвечайте ему честно и он отпустит вас в ванну. В
ванне возьмите табличку  'No Smoking' и выйдите. Паук от вас снова потребует.

Solution for Adventures of Willy Beamish, The


Day 1


Horny will 'attack' the principle during the assembly. After that,
you will be in the classroom with Ms Glass. Don't let Horny 'attack'
her if you want to carry on with the game. (You can try it out for
some fun). Willy should pretend to have a stomach upset to get away
from the teacher, but when the nurse question you, say it's alright.


Back in classroom. You can choose to be a good boy and sit down to
write your compositon until the class is over. You will miss some
of the fun if you did this. The alternative method (recommended) is
to sneak out of the classroom when the teacher fall asleep. (zzz...Z)
But before that, make sure you click on your table and get the piece
of wood and crayons. When you are outside the classroom, the coach
will stop you and demand a hall pass. Click on yourself to bring up
the inventory. Click on the white crayon and on the piece of wood,
this will write the word 'Hall Pass' on it. Click on the Hall Pass
and move it outside the inventory, this will clear the inventory
window. Give the Hall Pass to the coach. Go to toilet. Inside the
toilet, Spider will demand something from you. Give him the game
buddies. You are now free to leave the school. From now on school
is over.


Outside Willy's house. If you are early, you will be able to get
the letter the principle sent to your parent. (You must sneak
out the classroom to be able to do this) Get letter. Go inside
house. Go to kitchen. Talk to mother. Bring Brianna to the swing
and don't swing too hard. Mother will force you to cut the carrots
and in the process you will cut your finger. Go upstairs and enter
the bathroom. Press TAB to toggle the active area in the room. You
will see an arrow pointing at one of the cupboard. Click on it to
bring up the first aid box. Apply the iodine and then the plaster.
Go back to your room and play Nintari. You can't do it unless your
thumb is properly treated.


Go to the dining room for dinner. Be a good boy and give the letter
to your father. He will get angry and give your Nintari key to
your sister for save keeping. After dinner, go upstairs. Mother will
ask you to bring the conditioner to your sister. Go to Brianne room,
help her to get back to bed (this might occur randomly) and this
will make the game easier. Go to bathroom. You will see the
conditioner and Nintari key on the table. There are a few way to
get the key form your sister. Firstly, you can used your frog on
her. This will scarce the hell out of her and you can take the key
and walk away. Secondly, you can get her diary from her room and
then used it on her. She will give up and let you have the key.
(This is not recommended, the diary have other purposes as well).
Go back to your room and unlock the Nintari system with the key.
Play a few round and then go to bed.


Day 2


Wash your car for your father and he'll give you $5. Go upstairs
and go into cellar (the one on top). Talk to father in the train
room. Exit house and go to tree fort. Talk to your friends. Get
the comic book. Watch Horny, it in love with Gigi. After the
animations, exit tree fort and you'll be in the pizza hut. Give
the man $1 and he will take a photo of your gang. Spider will
then treaten you, answer correctly and he will let you go to the
washroom. Inside washroom, get the 'No Smoking' sign and exit.
Spider will come in and demand something from you. Give him the
comic book. Get out as fast as you can. Go to garden park. Give
the man $1 to buy the slam dunk cola. Click on Horny and then on
the floor to get it ready to jump. Horny will jump further with
the present of Gigi. Giving the slam dunk cola to Horny will make
it jump extremely far. Feeding it with the bottle of flies will
make it sleepy. Exit park. Go to East Frumpton. Go to fountain
and pick it one token. Leave the other one alone. Go to the ticket
booth, talk to lady. Go to lottery ticket machine, get the ticket
inside. Exit. Go home.


You will be introduced to the babysitter sooner or later. Go to
kitchen, then dinning room. The babysitter will transform into
a bat and start chasing you. Save the game in case you got killed
in the process. Run up to the bathroom, get the hair sprayer.
Run to Brianna room, get the mouse. Run to the living room.
Click on the vacuum cleaner. Click on the hairspay on the bat to
slow it down. Click the mouse on the table to use it as a bait.
When the bat started to attack the mouse. Click the target mark
on the bat. This will take care of the bat. Watch the animation,
this end day two.


Day 3
                                        

Go to tree fort. Talk to friends. Get the fire ants. Exit. Go to
east Frumpton. Give token to man. Board ferry. Take photo for
tourist. They will give you a cherry bomb and ninja star. Go to
Tootsweet headquarter. Get the entry form from the counter.
Exit. Go to Plumbers Union. Listen to Louis. Exit. Go to Golden
Bowl Tavern. (GB in short) Talk to man by attempting to enter
the tavern. Do it until the gang appeared. The bouncer will throw
you a wrench. Save the game in case you get killed. Throw the
cherry bomb at the gang. Before the smoke disappeared, use the
wrench on the fire hydrant. Exit the place immediately. Go to
Tootsweet headquarters. Talk to tourist. Respond correctly and
they will help you. When they have defeated the gang, you will
be sent back home. Go to bed. Thus ended day 3.


Day 4


Go to tree fort, talk to girl. Go to East Fumpton, board ferry.
Go to Plumbers Union. Enter office through window. Click on
table. Louis will appear. Click on plumber tool, and used it
on Louis, get the security pass. Exit. Go to Tootsweet. Give
entry form to man. Give jar of flies to Horny. Turbo Frog will
eat it. Wait till the contest begin. Save the game first. It
is easy to get second place but you can get first place with
some practice. To do it, jump whenever possible, don't care
about the jump meter. But don't click blindly, when the button
is up, click and then wait for it to come up again. Since
Turbo Frog is sleeping half way through the race, clicking
continously will let you win the game if you jump far enough
before he wake up. After the contest, enter Tootsweet. You
will be catch eventually. Inside guard room, click the key
on the chain to merge them. Click the chain and key on the
guard. Say 'Hoopa, Coiler, Agamemnon". The guard will knock
out immediately. Exit. Go to your new toy at the harbour.
Look inside and get the recorder. Go to the Frumpton Mansion.
Talk to parrot, be careful of what you are saying or it will
alert the rest. Go to dinning room. Get the table cloth and
the cup. Even when you did not appear in the screen, you can
access Willy's inventory by clicking on the chair. Click the
table cloth at the chair to get it. Look at what those two
are doing. Go to hallway. Click the table cloth at the leg
of the statue. Get the note on statue. The cloth will prevent
the statue from making any noise. Get the helmut and the
map.


Go to kitchen. Throw cup at cook. This will distract her.
Sneak behind her. Take the sauce pan and pour it at the
floor just to the right of the pot. Click on the pot to
push it closer to the cook. Exit and you will still be
in the kitchen but not behind the cook. Click on the
conveyor. You will jump in front of the cook and she will
fall into the pot and start shouting. To shout she up,
put the helmut on her head. Click on the right button to
release the frogs. Exit. You will be caught, but never
fear, help will arrive soon.


After escaping from the water. Go to Plumber Union. Go
to phone booth. Click recorder on the phone booth. Put
the phone on the recorder. Start recording. Dial the
phone number 'xxxSIGN' and stop recording. Then dial
GB phone number, play the recorder and let Ray talk to
it. Exit. Go to GB. Enter tavern. Give lottery ticket to
man. After the shock, get the nudie calendar. Go to
slugeworks. Give calendar to workers. Enter slugeworks.
The security guard will stop you. Give security pass to
security guard. Enter slugeworks.


Once inside go to the control panel immediately. Open the
cover and turn on the switch. Press the buttons in the
following order: brown, purple, green, purple. Turn the
joystick and this will kill the two guards running after
you. Go to the exit at the right.


Go to control panel. Switch on the power. Enter AIR and
press ENTER to kill the two guards. Enter TRAM and press
ENTER. The man following you will throw his hat at you,
get it and throw it back to him. This will get rid of him.
Jump to the vehicle and explore the tunnels.


In tunnel, move forward, right, left, forward and left
to meet Gordon. Save the game in case you get killed. You
must act fast if you want to save Gordon. Use yoyo on the
bad guys. Then change the cursor to a '+' and click on
Leona. She will fall down and at the same time drag Louis
along into the muddy pool below. Press TAB to toggle the
active area in the screen and click on the red arrow that
appear. This will empty the pool of muddy stuff. You have
save your father! Following this is a rather lengthy
animation squence, so sit back and watch how Willy perform
in the Nintari competition.

Solution #2 for Adventures of Willy Beamish, The


                            - - Carbuncle School - -

Q: How do I get out of class?

A: Eventually, Ms. Glass will fall asleep, then you can sneak out
of class. Don't try to leave before she conks out, and make sure she
doesn't find out you have a frog in your backpack. If Ms. Glass catches
you for either of these offenses, you will get sent to the principal's
office.

Q: How do I get by Coach Beltz?

A: You can make a hall pass that will fool Coach Beltz from the items
inside Willy's desk. Combine the white crayon with the piece of wood
and show it to Coach Beltz when he asks you for it.

Q: How do I avoid getting beat up by Spider?

A: To avoid getting mauled by Spider in the bathroom, choose the
dialog response 2 when he asks you to give him something from your
backpack. Then give him your Game Buddy.

Q: I've been sent to Principal Frick's office! What do I do?

A: The first time you get sent to Principal Frick's office choose
dialog response 1. Then give him back his toupee. Try not to get in
trouble again, if you are sent to Principal Frick's office too many
times you will end up in military school.


                            - - The Beamish home - -

Q: Who is this Ghost Beamish character?

A: Ghost Beamish is the spirit of Willy's Grandfather. He provides
Willy with helpful information and guidance throughout the game. Ghost
Beamish provides the first warning that something foul is afoot in
the fair city of Frumpton. Most of the time it is a good idea to listen
to what Ghost Beamish has to tell you.

Q: Help! I keep getting sent to military school!

A: When you get a warning from Gordon or Sheila to do something,
you have a short amount of time to do it before the trouble meter
begins to climb into the danger zone. If Willy ignores his parents
or misbehaves too frequently he will get sent to military school.
Promptly doing what you are told and common sense will keep you out
of trouble for the most part.

Q: What do I do about the mail?

A: You are better off leaving your report card in the mail slot.

room and take the mouse away from the cat. After you have the mouse,

in the fountain. Make sure that you only take one. The local gendarmes
don't take kindly to people messing in the fountain.

A: You need to win the frog jump on day four before you can get to
the Humpford Mansion. One of the prizes you will win is a jet-ski
which you can then ride to Humpford Mansion.

A: Arthur is a very sensitive and repressed bird, so you must be
careful not to ruffle his feathers. Try the following dialog responses:
1, 2, 1, 2.

Q: Can I do anything with this suit of armor?

A: The suit of armor is precariously balanced and will crash to the
ground noisily if you don't cushion its fall. Get the quilted tablecloth
from the dining room and place it near the feet of the suit of armor

the suit of armor. As soon as Chef Childish is taken care of, release
the frogs by pressing the stop button on the conveyor control panel.
Then get the heck out of there. You will still get caught by Louis
and Leona, but the frogs you just rescued will repay the favor by
saving you.

Q: How do I get inside the Plumbers' Union?

A: You can't get inside Local 409 until day 4 but you can listen
to Louis Stoole address the plumbers rally on day 3. On day 4 you
can sneak into Louis Stoole's office by climbing through the window.


Q: What do I do in Louis Stoole's office?

A: After you are in his office for a short time, Louis will come
crashing through the door. Pick up the plunger near the desk and throw
it at Louis' face. This will only hold him for a short time. Pick
up the security pass to Humpford Sludgeworks on the desk and make
a break for it.

Q: How do I handle the Cripes Gang outside the Golden Bowl?

A: Except for throwing you the wrench, Ray isn't going to help you
here. Take the smoke bomb the Japanese tourists gave to you on the
ferry and throw it at the Cripes. Then use the monkey wrench to open
the fire hydrant and spray them with water. After you've doused the
gang, run to Tootsweet where you will again find the Japanese tourists.


Q: How do I get in the Golden Bowl Bar?

A: Ray's astrology fetish can be used to help you get in the Golden

radio/tape recorder from the jet-ski you won at the frog jump to help

go to the phone booth outside the plumbers' union. Put the phone receiver
on top of the radio/tape recorder. Press record and dial 432-7446
to tape the phone conversation with Alyssa. Then call the Golden Bowl
and ask for Ray. When he gets on the line, play the recording. When
you return to the Golden Bowl, Ray will be inside on the phone and
you can get in.

Q: What do I do inside the Golden Bowl?

A: Poor Burt doesn't have a lottery ticket. Give him the one from
the machine next to the OK T-shirt Kiosk. He'll let you stay and watch
the drawing. Take a nudie calendar from the pile on top of the bar

A: Horny can't beat Turbofrog head to head in the jumping contest
so you have to stack the odds in your favor a bit. Place the jar of
flies near Turbofrog, he will eat them and fall asleep. Don't feed
the flies directly to Turbo or give Horny the Slam dunk Cola. Both
of theses actions will get you disqualified. If Gigi is at the contest,
Horny will jump better.

Q: How do I escape the Tootsweet security guard?

A: You need to combine the Nintari Key with the GI Jim dog tags and
hypnotize the guard. The correct hypnotic phrase can be found inside
Dr. Jeckle's ad inside Willy's Meed Notebooklet, included with your

Q: How can I get by the striking Plumbers?

A: Being the red-blooded blue-collar men that they are, you can easily
get their attention with the nudie calendar from the Golden Bowl Bar.


Q: How do I get into the sludgeworks?

A: To get inside the sludgeworks, you need to give the guard at the
gate the security pass you got from Louis Stoole's office in the Plumber's
Union. The guard will still sound the alarm after you get inside,
so don't waste any time.

Q: How do I operate the bridge?

A: You will need the plans for the sludgeworks you got from inside
the suit of armor at the Humpford Mansion to solve this puzzle. The
correct color code sequence to activate the bridge control lever is
listed in the margin of the map. Enter the four part code from the
map: you'll know you have it right when the small light over the control
lever turns green. After you've entered the correct code, wait until
the guards start to cross the bridge, then throw the lever.

Q: What do I do in the Duct Control Center?
                                        
A: Time is of the essence, if you don't hurry you'll buy the farm.
Type "AIR" into the control panel, then wait for the guards to appear.
When they do, press the enter button on the control panel to blow
them off the catwalk. Then type "TRAM" and press enter to go to the
Tub Tray Tram Room.

Q: How can I escape from Stanley in the Tub Tray Tram Room?

A: Stay in the middle of the tramwalk until Stanley throws his hat
at you. Make sure you duck when he tries to hit you. When Stanley's
hat lands at the end of the conveyor, go pick it up. Throw it at him
from the end of the tram - don't run back to the middle. When Stanley's
body gets plunged, run back to the middle of the conveyor and jump
on the piston that's sticking up on the left side of the tramwalk.


Q: Help! I keep getting lost in the Tub Tray Tram Tunnels!

A: The blueprints from the Humpford Mansion are a map of the Tub
Tray Tram Tunnels. The toilet icon near the center of the map is where
you want to end up. When you jump into the tram you will automatically
be taken to Grand Junction, then you need to use the map. From Grand
Junction go forward to Conjunction Junction, then take a RIGHT. When
you reach Compunction Junction take a LEFT and go straight through
Malfunction Junction, continuing until you reach Petticoat Junction.
Take a LEFT at Petticoat Junction. This will lead you to the final
climactic confrontation with your arch-enemies Leona and Louis at
the Hot Sludge Vat.

Q: How do I rescue Gordon?

A: You finally get to use the yo-yo Willy has being carrying. Drop
the yo-yo on Willy. Leona and Louis will start running towards you
on the rim of the Hot Sludge Vat. When they stop to laugh, throw the
yo-yo at them. This will knock them into the goop. Be sure to flush
the main colitis valve after you knock them in.
